LAHORE, PAKISTAN (FAMILY HEIRLOOM) 151+ YEAR OLD SOURDOUGH STARTER

You will receive 70g to 80g of fresh starter in a small glass jar and small spoon. Color of jars may vary. 

So your probably wondering how I got this starter ? While traveling overseas to UAE as well as Lahore, Pakistan in the year of 2005. I was very fortunate enough to acquire two very special sourdough starters and can I just say delicious! The yeastie beasties are very active in both. And They make a beautiful crusty on the outside soft on the inside bread!! It's hard to choose which one I love the most.  Both of these starters were obtained from two different families. The family from Lahore, Pakistan used glacier water. While the family from Dubai used cavern water. Please see my other listing for the Dubai Sourdough Starter. Both are unique in their own right and I'm glad I am able to now offer them to you.
