This case consists of an outer fabric made from small granny squares that are lined with fabric and sewn together with a zipper at the top. Size depends on yarn and hook, but with 8/4 cotton and hook size 2.50 mm, mine measures 24 x 13 cm (~9.5 x 5"). Each granny square measures 4.5 x 4.5 cm (1 3/4 x 1 3/4"). In addition to yarn and hook, you will need lining and zipper (I used a 22 cm (81/2") long zip), and either a sewing machine or needle and thread.
